Why subscribe?

Most business content is either purely academic or purely anecdotal. My decades of blended professional experience —> as COO & Professor (practitioner + academic) AND as an entrepreneur + an institutional insider at the largest investment banks in the US ← creates a unique lens with the lessons from all sides, which is exactly what growing businesses need.

I am not writing with only those identities, but as a triple P: Practitioner, Professor & Patient…a horrible, heartbreaking, seemingly full-time job I was forced to take on to battle an aggressive, rare, late-stage, 9/11-related breast cancer diagnosis.

With 2.5 years of treatments completed and 3 more years left on the current one, I finally feel ready to share personal parts of my career + cancer journey because the latter informed so much of WHY I have stopped only working behind the scenes for others. My business lens became more clear, and I am honored to share my insights with you.
